I was about to say that my first choice of wild animal to domesticate would naturally be a spirit beast, being that I'm a hunter and all. But then my stupid brain reminded me that I'm not actually a tauren hunter, and Real Life and Azeroth are not the same thing. I hate my brain sometimes.

So I was wondering if maybe a tiger might be the way to go. It'd be exactly like having a cat, only bigger and totally fearsome. There wouldn't be a single scally in Salford with balls big enough to come near me and Tiggles - which, incidentally, is the name of the tiger my hunter in World of Warcraft has already tamed.

But tigers are endangered out in the wild, and Ma might get mad with me.

Then I thought of a unicorn, but they must be even rarer than tigers. Then I thought of a cow, to give me milk and trim lawns and such, but when was the last time you saw a wild cow? Then I thought of a hedgehog (too prickly), a prawn (mmm, cocktail), and a Totoro (not real). Argh, come on, brain!

Then I thought of an ant farm. They're wild, they're low-maintenance, and you can watch them build a whole little civilisation right in your bedroom, which is very appealing to nerds like me. An ant farm's probably my safest bet.

Oh man, my DPS would suck with an ant farm...
