    • When I grow up...
    • When I grow up I want to be a teacher. I know there is not a whole lot of money it but I think it will be a great and meaniful career. I decided two years ago that I wanted to be a teacher. I like jobs that are a service to society. My mom was a nurse and she got a lot out of it. Teaching is not as easy as I thought. I'm sad that this "Online Degree" revolution is undermining education colleges like the one I go to. Not everyone can be a teacher. It will really be an epidemic to schools around the nation if they keep paying teachers such low wages and give degrees to everyone and anyone. The turnover rate is already very high. That is why we need more passionate and sustaining teachers. Hopefully I can be one! Teaching will also keep me on my toes. Studies show that your brain needs" exercise" and being a teacher will help me keep learning. It will help me to avoid living a "sedentary lifestyle". I'm excited to be a teacher and help some kids change the world. Cheesy huh. When I was little I wanted to be a pro basketball player (just a dream) and I never thought I would wind up back in school. It is funny how you change as you get older and see things differently.
