My Dad
My dad took out a very large loan to start a business when I was just a babe in arms. By the time I was 5, the business had failed, and the bank was on my family like white on rice. My parents struggled to feed themselves, while feeding us, they lost their house.

My dad complained about it, stressed about it, but never once missed a payment or filed bankruptcy. He worked jobs he hated, sometimes yelled when he was particularly stressed, and sometimes avoided my sisters and I. But he paid off every penny of that loan, and I have never been prouder of anyone. And I don't think I could admire anyone more.
