    • Dear SJ, I miss you. Love, TX
    • *sigh* Some places will always be "home."

My relationship with South Jersey is romantic, I guess. If you can love a place. I never knew how much it meant to me until the first time I had to do without the sarcasm and the acerbic wit.

Sometimes I dream about Wawa and the shore and Eagles and lox and Lagers, only to be cruely awakened to a warm desert land where bilingual skills are prized. (I know; how forward can you get?)

I shall return, someday soon, New Jersey, and when that plane lands (or scary Jeep arrives), I shall kneel on your hallowed ground and smooch it.

As a fellow Jersey guy stuck in Dallas, I feel your pain. Especially since everybody in Dallas thinks their city is the second coming of NY. Note to Dallas residents: you live in the world's largest suburb. But what's this about the Eagles? Everyone knows the Giants are the team to beat in the East ;)

I can only concur more and more with your answer. I haven't left and still live here but I'll have you know it's always a home to me, you, and the rest of us South Jersians. Some of my friends can't wait to leave but I can't think of a reason why to leave? What's not to love, AC twenty minutes away, Philly forty minutes away, Our fightin Phils, the E-A-G-L-E-S, and a Wawa at every corner. Ohh and need I say more Mack-Manco's pizza in Ocean City? I rest my case.
