    • It lasted about 2 years. I made next to nothing, but I owe my software development career to it!

    Sure thing! Except, when I was building PCs, it was in India, 1997/98, and there was no bestbuy etc. We built PCs coz that was the only way I could afford one! It was none of the cookie cutting that happens these days too. If you didn't choose the correct combination of motherboard, and PCI cards, they won't even boot up!
    It was fun selecting components and designing them based on every customer's needs.
