I absolutely HATE sucking up to people, but I've had to learn to be good at it. My job consists of making unmotivated, usually learning disabled people take IQ tests. I find the best way to get a good effort out of someone else is to let them feel like they're doing me a HUGE favor by cooperating. Then I praise them when they do what I want. Almost like training a dog, really. HA
