Alzheimer's and dementia are my only real fear.

My mind is where all of the real me resides, I live for good jokes, good songs and good stories.
I spend my time in good converstions and good debates with friends.
I don't take pictures because I keep all my mermories in my head.
To lose these things would really take all of "me" away.
That, that is my only real fear.
I like being me, I like having done what I have done.
Speaking, talking, laughing and crying with others and alone.
I cherish those things.

Even the parts I'd like to forget.
