I love my kids... but as my sister says, "they're only temporary."

Telluride in the summer, for my wife's 40th birthday. We macked this entire vacation out: posh resort, fancy meals, sleeping late, naked hot-tubbing, epic hikes, you name it.

One morning, we ditched sleeping late in exchange for a sunrise photoshoot of the mountains. Me, my wife, a couple great coffees, some random deer and a spectacular sunrise over the jagged peaks of the San Juan mountains.

Of course, this vacation could also be described with only 2 words: no kids. : )
