When I graduated from Davis my parents sent me on a whirlwind tour of Europe thru the UC. It was amazing being that I saw over 12 countries in about 3 weeks in a group of about 25! Obviously jam packed & action filled with our last stop being Greece & 2 days in Poros at a "resort"

Simply amazing...

My best day there was spent with my morning out sunbathing & going out. I collected mountains of sea glass on the beach since no one wanted it, even the red & yellow pieces! Some overweight man in a speedo kept asking me why I collected it & what I planned to do with it. I drank cheap greek wine out of old liter water bottles & played in the incredibly warm water. I listened to the Fray, yes the Fray, for hours upon hours. I had a bad cold & sneezed the largest booger I have ever seen & drank alot of diet coke. I was appalled when I saw 2 Parisian girls topless on the beach & made scoffing noises at my pure disgust for their voyeurism.
In the evening we cleaned up & went to the a hotel at the top of Poros at a pool bar that overlooked the whole island. We all drank girly drinks, dressed in TOGAS, yes togas, & got shitty. I asked a waitress where the restroom was and she said down the hill because she thought I meant a bed to rest in not a toilet.
As the night progressed I remember complete debauchery, I switched sandals with my friend Gus. One girl Nicole kept getting humped by this 40 year old greek man. Courtney got harassed by men saying they always wanted to sleep with a black women. I got in a fight with a boy on the trip cause we had been gratuitously flirting but i had a boyfriend for like 4 years & was feeling guilty. We all got back to our hotel on ATV's....it was one of the best days I can humanly remember.
