When I was young I spent many an upset summer in Yosemite thinking OH GOD KILL ME. Then in college I went there for a weekend with my GF's & I walked away thinking "holy guac YO-SEM-ITE is the shit y'all".

If looking to be wowed by Yosemite I suggest visiting Sentinel Dome. Its located very south in the park & should be visited at Sunset. Hikers come in with viddles & champagne & watch the sun set over the whole entire park. You get this epic view from that vantage point!
