Volkswagen Thing - front

For some reason, when I was a kid I thought that the Volkswagen Thing was the most amazing thing ever. They are ugly, came in crazy day-glow colors and looked like someone high decided to modify a Jeep. It was love. I don't see them very much these days but when I do, I get excited. I've been telling my dad for years that if VW could do something for me, it would be to bring back the Thing. I currently drive a Rabbit and I love it. Though, I can't help thinking that I would love to own a Thing and name it Cousin It. Ahhh.... I dream big sometimes.
