i have several boxes of wonderful household items that would be useful if only i was able to remove myself from the dwelling of my parents. hopefully i will have a "real" job after graduation (less than a week away), or at least the gumption to get the hell out of here and live under a bridge for awhile and at least be myself.

How did you collect the household items if you never needed them? Congrats on the graduation.

i dont consider it collecting so much as accumulating. ive been subconsciously planning my escape for approximately my whole life. i hope i will need them soon, or ive wasted a lot of time at garage sales. thanks for the congratulations!
i saw on a previous post that you are a high school teacher. is is safe to assume that youre an english teacher based on the joyce reference?

yes indeed! Funny, I don't remember referencing Joyce. He creeps in sometimes, though. Oh. Wait. Haha. I forgot my name. And what will you be teaching?

I hear you! I just graduated last year and am living with the folks until I can get on my feet (though being a musician full-time may make that difficult for a while). Keep on accumulating, and best of luck with finding a job! Congrats on graduating and know you have a fellow household items collector amongst you.
