My wife and I went out and bought a Roomba, and it was an awesome little device...until it came time for a tune-up. That's right, my little robotic vacuum cleaner needs a tune-up. It's 2009 and the best robot that the average American can buy isn't even smart enough not to bump into walls and it needs a FREAKING tune-up every 6 months.

So what does this tune-up entail? One must buy a tune-up kit, which I've only been able to find from the manufacturer, for the low, low price of $49.95. What happens if I don't get the tune-up? The damn thing won't work! It's like it's on strike until I replace the parts that got so caked with dust that it doesn't want to roll on anymore.

So, there you have it. Until I get the tune-up kit, which means until it's available where I actually bought the machine (Target), my little Roomba is just a little retarded robot sitting in the corner of my kitchen.
