• Well, here's my story. Wish I could say that it involves exotic travels or knifefights..
    • I wish this could be a cooler story, but here goes:
I've basically spent my whole life working toward the goal of becoming a doctor. Not to say that I haven't had my share of debaucherous fun along the way, but at least the past 10 years of my life have pretty much been dedicated to taking the right classes, keeping my GPA up, applying to the right schools, participating in impressive activities, preparing for standardized tests-- you get the idea.
Among other things, this has resulted in me becoming an EMT, slicing up rat brains, and giving IQ tests to crazy people. I can also pour any exact quantity of liquid into a graduated cylinder in one shot, straight from the bottle and accurate to the mL. Useful, huh?
Now it's time for me to move on to the next chapter of this journey. I'll finally be starting med school in the fall, at which point I'll be 7-10 years away from reaching my goal. Still a ways off, but, well, closer than I was 10 years ago!
