    • Fun Junction (Now Defunct) sucked the gluteus maximus
    • Fun Junction was this little podunk little amusement park in town that was about 3/4 of a city block. Most of the rides were old, worn out carnival cast offs and the arcade consisted of two skee-ball machines (one was always broken), a video games cabinet with "Bad Dudes" and horrible screen burn. Finally, they managed to get a roller coaster that was about 25 feet tall, 70 feet long, and approximately 10 feet wide.
Riding on the thing was extremely uncomfortable (I was close to 6' at the time) as the cars were small, the structure was so compacted together that I had to duck the entire time, and even raising your hands were liable to get them ripped off by the structure.
To top it all off, the prices were absolutely outrageous. It cost money to get into Fun Junction, it cost money to get tickets (like 15 USD for 20 Tickets) and all the rides and stuff were four to five tickets a person.
Worst of all, After I bankrupted myself one time, I got on the rock-o-plane, and while spinning around, I lost everything from my pockets (cigarettes, change, dignity), and when I talked to the guy who ran the machine, he told me to get lost - it wasn't his problem.
After that, the girl I was dating at the time then dumped me for a mutual friend.
Fortunately, they raized the place to the ground years ago and are now putting a Hooters in where it used to be.
