I tend to want my own way. I am lazy and sleep a lot unless disturbed. I am manipulative, and--most unfortunate--I shed and have bad breath.
Other than that, I am warm and friendly when it suits me, and frequently make people laugh at inappropriate moments.

Dogs are fine, and I have had bunches over the years: Snowball, Blue-Blue, Blackie, Chasie...(Okay, I was not all that inventive in the name department. I was young). But dogs are an awful lot like babies--you just can't go off and leave them on their own. They really, really need all the attention you can give. And, like babies, they become much less cute as they get older.

Cats, though, only really need you at dinner time. Or when they are cold. Or when you are trying to use the computer. Or, come to think of it, just about any time it is inconvenient for you.

Yep. I'm a cat. Person.
