My wife would tell you that she'd take our dog (a pug) over me & our two boys combined, anytime. And, I think she means it. She loves that dog.

To his credit, he's a good dog -- loves to play, isn't too wild, has a few interesting quirks that make him lovable.

She always says that the dog will out live her, as she can't bear the thought of the dog dying. I was thinking of putting some closing thought about women & their irrationality, but I'll just zip my lip on that one...
