      Whenever I am in the mountains, I always wonder what it would be like to have the Rocky Mountains next to a Southern California beach. Denver has the luxury of being nestled up next to one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world. San Diego is just an awesome city and has some beautiful places next to the beach. If the two cities were one geographically, I would be hiking in the morning and relaxing by the beach at night. Oh yeah...

    I agree...best of both worlds (IF I could get my in-laws to move away from SD, that is)! Huntington Beach is kind of like that. There's a picture at Duke's (beachside restaurant) that someone took while in the water. It shows the beach and snow capped mountains in the background.
