I wanted to put Reservoir Dogs, but I realized two problems with that. One, I only want to be part of that initial conversation concerning the real meanings of song lyrics and whether it is proper to tip a waitress. Two, they would surely end up killing me.

I think I could be more at home with the Tenenbaums and their family friends.

Perhaps I could be another one of Margot's husbands / lovers. Or some hack writer whom that bloodsucker Eli Cash hangs around with. ("Let me ask you this. Why would a review go out of their way to say that I'm NOT a genius. I mean, you think I'm especially NOT a genius?") I'm not sure I could stand to be around his apartment though unless he changed his decor.

I'd like to think, though, that I could make friends with Richie. I wouldn't mind taking a tennis lesson from him, or sailing around the world.

Maybe on weekends I could hail a gypsy cab and take Ari and Uzi out for ice cream. I could drink some coffee while they read the Wall Street Journals.

I might fit in best with the family friends of the Tenenbaums: Eli, Raleigh, Sherman. They are bright, and enjoy being around brilliance, even though they are decidedly more common.
