We text and IM throughout the day and talk to each other for a few hours every night. We stay informed on what's going on in the other person's life and make sure to talk about lots of different things to keep getting to know each other. We're also fortunate that we've been able to see each other every month or so, which has allowed us to not get too stressed out about being long-distance. The distance has made our relationship incredibly strong and I am thankful for that. I am, however, counting down the months until we don't have to be long-distance anymore. 14 more months and I can be in his arms again. =)
