5 Letters from my Wife
Back in 2007 I took a 5 day trip to PA to find an apartment after we had decided to relocate from NorCal to the Philadelphia area. It was to be the longest stretch of time I'd been away from my wife since my daughter's birth in 2005.
She crafted 5 letters each labeled with a day of the week and a number, one for each day I'd be away. Inside there were sentiments, cute paper cut outs, scribbles done by my daughter.... just all around sweetness and comfort for my journey.
Since then, I've taken them on every overnight trip.
