    • I can't travel without A Mike
    • A Mike
Not because I get stupid - I mean, outRAGEous. (Stay away from me if you're contagious.)

But like a friend. I am a poor traveller on my own. I cave in to my introversion and low energy levels too much and don't get out. A Mike or comparable helps me navigate and hit the town (pugilistic, we are, my friends and I) and ups the value of the experience by making it shared.

      A Plan
I will go nuts. I will bite your cheek off. Not your whole face, just the side of it. Then I will run flapping through the streets, knocking out locale children with my arms. Then I will become winded and keel over, lying on the ground in a strange place, keening.

There must be a plan. We can flex from it - indeed, we will have to. But we must HAVE one.

I am on the very edge of cognitive dissonance here...trying to imagine you introverted & at the same time running amok in the streets with mouthful of cheek (typical, I'm finding) and obliteration of the youth. And then, keening! Thank you for making me look up words. (I wait with fingernails cutting my flesh for your next entry....)

clarification now that i re-read this (i'm a poor writer as well as a poor traveler as after a point, good writing is mostly good editing) - the plan is not to do those local-endangering things. that is the aftermath of not having a plan.
but i totally shame friends by giving up in public spaces and just lying down or sitting in a corner until i feel better. heh. =) i swear i'm fun sometimes!
