    • My first job: Strip mall truffle hustler
    • I was a candy dealer.

My first job couldn't have been further from the job I have today, but isn't that always the case? I worked retail at Lindt Chocolates, makers of the most delicious individually wrapped truffle treats ever. That was the good part!

The bad part was that I was horrible at it. I sat behind the counter and listened to headphones. I ate all the trail truffles. I took hour long breaks when they were only supposed to be 30 minutes. In my defense, I honestly didn't know how bad I was screwing up until they really laid it all out for me.

I quit after a couple of months, but I'll never forget how that first job forged my excellent work ethic that I have today! ;)
