Love is an experience like none other. It shapes us for the rest of our lives. If you have never loved, you have never truly lived. Yes, it can hurt. Yes, it can hurt like a sunuvabitch, but that pain defines us. Loving and losing love invokes the two polar ends of human emotion, and how we deal with, react to and cope with these two extremes shapes us into who we become. I can honestly say that I am fortunate for having lost love in my life, because if I had never lost it, then new love, or continual love, would lose it's luster. We all savor the good times, but it's the bad times that define us.
