    • School is over, it is time to learn.
Never hesitate to learn to do something new, however small and silly it may be or absurdly basic. Learn some skills as far from your areas of interest as you can make them. Go out of your way to learn something useful and physical, and possibly mindless. Learn to cut hair or bake bread or build doghouses.

Learn to appreciate the skills of those who make your daily routines possible, and you will smooth the way for yourself as well as for those around you. You may never be the person who cleans motel rooms for a living, but if you know how it's supposed to be done, you know organization and system and efficiency. Those are skills you can use for anything you do. And knowing the basics of good work will help you recognize when someone is charging you for less than their best.

Also: floss, keep a journal because you WILL forget those unforgetable things, and always pay your bills on time.
