Honesty
I don't even necessarily mean that the person has to tell me the truth at every moment. I get not doing that. I mean being honest in who they truly are and not trying to be someone they're not to fit in. People are much more accepting of people when they're their normal selves. Or you don't like them from the beginning and you don't have to deal with the awkwardness later on. Both is fine.
