Fantastic views over the valley, amazing mountain scenery, great acoustics, close to my house, good wine and food, intimate venue (no bad seats), and always at least 4-5 groups a year that I really want to see.

Dan and I went to see the Gypsy Kings there last summer and they were AMAZING. We danced our asses off. Just had regular general seating, but we were really close to the stage.

Close second would be Villa Montalvo, also in Saratoga. Saw Dave Brubeck there, and Julio Iglesias (!). Small, intimate venue, you are practically on stage with the musicians.
