    • Ah, the good ole days of going to clubs...
    • I've been to a lot of rock clubs, I've traveled on some strange mini-tours, I've seen quite a few clubs, but my favorite is still the old 9:30 club in Washington, DC. It just had the right mystique. It was better because it sucked.
I have no idea if this map is right, it's probably leading to the new 9:30 club. Not as good, way too clean. What was it about the old one?

It was small, intimate and loud as hell. It FELT like a dingy rock club that your mom would be pissed about if she knew where you were. It was a room that wasn't very big, but it seemed like there were a whole lot more people in line. There were support beams on the dance floor, always a good idea. I guess it just felt much more like a hole-in-the-wall rock and roll club then anywhere else I've been.
