I was very disappointed by Halley's Comet in 1986. I'd like to know what it was like in late February of 837 AD, which according to orbital calculations was the closest approach ever made by Halley's Comet; astronomers believe that at its greatest extent the comet filled over one-third of the night sky. What a site that must've been!
