    • Woo hoo!
    • Today I said 'Woo Hoo' after finding out my great great uncle is Sigismund Goetze. He has art works in Oil and Watercolour. Goetze was responsible for the large and remarkable murals in the great gallery at the Foreign Office in London.
Things in memory of him -
Goetze Memorial Chapel at St. Mark's Church, Maida Vale, London.
At the entrance to London Zoo in Regents Park London there is a small statue of a boy on a bear in memory of Goetze.
Goetze Memorial Fountain with triton and dryads in Regents Park.
His house is Grove House where apparently he had painted murals that were covered over by wood in the war so they wouldn't get ruined, years later the house was bought and the panels removed to show these wonderful murals.
I'm so amazed......I always had dreams about painting the walls on the inside of my terrace but thought my husband would never let me and I have started an art class learning oils....I Love It.

Paint bit by bit, on small canvases (spray with urethane if exposed to the weather), and quickly tack them up. Before your husband can complain, you have already effectively painted a mural, bit by bit.
You will feel like a creative genius finishing the canvases so quickly, one after another.
