    • Not really

12 years ago my wife dragged me kicking, screaming and cussing into homeownership.
I had a premonition that it wasn’t as heavenly as she thought.
It’s on 7 heavily forested ski slope acres
      Sorta near Grass Valley
The original Caucasian population here was miners and mine owners.
A lot of that concept still remains
Employers don’t want to pay a living wage (company store mentality) and don’t mind the slightly lower gene pool, lesser quality employee.
There are statistically more born again Christians here than most places in the U.S.
8,000 people and at least 80 odd named churches.
      People here vote 60+% Republican.
Lot of belly button watching goin on here.
      They call it patriotic.
      Not much into informed dissent.
Front page of the local paper is more likely to show a pot bust than an essay of the local bad vehicular manners.

Well we’re past 700 characters, that’s an essay, which I flunked 50 years back.

      What was the question?

Ya ask yourself why doesn't he leave?
My wife loves it here and I live where she is.
