Ironically, I *did* bring this book the last time I got called for jury duty... but as another Plinkster pointed out, once I got sent from the jury assembly room into the court room I put the book away and paid attention like I was supposed to.

It was a felony murder case; the *judge* dismissed me during the 2nd round of jury selection b/c I asked too many questions re: what seemed to me like a flawed strategy on the part of the defense attorney. Ever heard that line about how the only people who end up serving on juries are stupid? (No, I don't believe that... but still...)
