    • The night before my birthday I had a dream that I was diagnosed with cancer a la Izzy from Grey's Anatomy. When I told my parents they told me I deserved it & they wouldn't pay for my insurance bills. As you can imagine, it was quite stressful & before I had any chemo my hair fell out. I woke up crying. I don't know what this means but I doubt its good.

    This nighmare you describe is not as rare as some might think. I had one once with my grandmother, who was this sweet old woman, chasing me around the room with a knife. And I had a girlfriend whose dream was that she woke up in a hospital bed, was told she had cancer, and her parents were there pointing and laughing at her. This could be one of those dreams you have when you're going through some kind of depressing phase and the people you care about are not empathizing, or don't seem to give a crap - hence the symbolism of the dream sequence. Then again, it could just be more of the same old bull shit.
