• You are my sweetest downfall.
    • Thanks a lot Plinky, now I'm CRYING.

Let It Be by The Beatles

Because they played this song on my last day of school. Call me a nerd, but I loved me some school. Maybe not the lessons as such, but everyone was just so lovely and the teachers all loved us, and it was just... mmm. School days were good days. They played this song over a slideshow of pictures of us ranging from when we started school to our prom.

      And I bawled.

      Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley

I know it's not the original, but it's still pretty good, yeah? This song makes me cry because:

      a) it really is heartbreaking and if you don't cry... what is wrong with you,

      b) Because I just feel so bad for him! His girlfriend must have been a BITCH! Bet she was kicking herself for her mean-ass behaviour after this song came out.

Finally, c) Because much as I am an insane X Factor fan, and an Alexandra Burke fan at that, Alexandra + Hallelujah = Disaster, and the fact that she sings the whole song just so... WRONGLY makes me want to cry.

      Samson by Regina Spektor

You are my sweetest downfall.... I loved you first, I loved you...

Because as much as you TRY (and succeed) to hate your ex, you still loved them first...
