- One of my quirks: I sleep a lot.

I sleep a lot.
Long car rides are boring. What better to pass the time than a little cat nap? Just ask Grant, on our way to Portland, I slept through all of Oregon until we reached our destination.
I make up words to songs.
Mainly Grant's favorite songs. We have our entire music collection on our ipod. It is something like 32 days worth with no repeats so we are never without music on long car rides. And for the most part, we switch off between who gets to pick the album. However, I tend to rotate between 5 or 6 albums that are my favorite and Grant always tries to convince me that I need to "branch out." That is what his turns are for, I say. But often he picks albums that I don't listen to and I don't know the word to any of the songs. Since I am a big fan of singing in the car, this poses a problem for me. To remedy the situation, I make up my own words to the songs and sing over the radio.
Grant loves it.
I get very restless legs.
My legs tell me I am tired and ready for bed long before anything else does. They often get very restless and start to hurt and this is worsened in the car. The only thing that seems to "help" is jerking my legs about uncontroablly every few minutes or so. I don't know who is more annoyed by this, me or the person I am sharing the ride with.
I hate the wind.
You know, the wind would not be so bad it it was not so damn windy. I don't even like when the AC is turned up too high. The concept of a convertable is lost on me.
