    • The Source is long, but (most of) it's worth the read
    • My grandfather made me read this the first time; I read it on my own the next 4 or 5 times. A wonderful fictionalized history of world religion: no matter what you believe (or don't), you won't look at it the same way post-Source.

      Caveat: the framing device, an archeological dig with a (blech) love story, is eminently skippable. Just sayin'!
