• Everyday Air Head
    • I don’t know if this qualifies:

When I was much younger I liked to have little adventures. In the year 1973 I was living outside Minneapolis. One Saturday morning I woke up and the weather was a bit filth, the snow was 14-15 inches deep. As I headed to work I put on chains. I got to work 10 minutes late and the owner called and said “Tommy why are you late”, I responded "look outside Ray, the weather sucks” and hung up. Another 10 minutes he calls up and says “Tommy what are you doing at work, the worst blizzard since 41 is happening. Close up and get home”. I closed the shop, stopped at a liquor store and bought a case of Schmidts beer and headed out. The snow was blowing really bad, 20-30 foot visibility. We[my oldest son and I] were going down this back road when I saw something odd in the road. I slowed and stopped. It was a drift 10-15 feet high completely blocking the road. What I had seen was a glow coming from the drift. My boy and I got out with shovels[ya have to carry a shovel in Minnesota]. We dug in to see what the glow was. It was a car, engine running, people still inside it. Can anyone say monoxide? Well we put the people in my van , backed down to the last intersection and went home a different direction. The bunch of us drank some beers and watched football. After a few beers I came up with the notion [[Lets go find more stranded people]].
      Didn’t happen.
Now only dumb shits[ME] were out.
