Last weekend, I was leaving the grocery store and nearly to my car, when I noticed an elderly lady slowly loading a walking cart with groceries. I decided to go back into the store to see if she needed help, and as I was walking in, noticed that she was struggling to pull the cart behind her while walking on a cane. I asked her if I could help her get the groceries to her car, and she told me that her car had been recently repossessed, so she was planning to walk home, approximately ten blocks. I pushed all thoughts of "even an elderly woman can rob me" to the side and offered her a ride, which she accepted immediately. It wasn't a long trip, but it made me really happy to be able to do something small for a stranger.
