    • No sense of direction
I need a compass to get from the car park to my office, and once off so-called 'familiar' territory, I'm a disaster. Travelling from York to Edinburgh with a friend, I lost major landmarks (Hadrian's Wall, for example, and the Forth Road Bridge) and ended up on the west coast rather than east, having apparently passed Edinburgh without noticing.
