• That's funny
    • Today I was with my literary - inclined friend Chris. He was telling me about this idea for a fanzine he was playing around with, with our other friend Mike.

Me being a wannabe journalist looking to study magazine journalism at Uni, expressed interest in this and asked if I could jump on the bandwagon!

Chris agreed, so I asked a few questions about it.

      Charley: So, what's it called?
      Chris: TV.
(I didn't question that at the time - I don't know why it's called TV, and to be honest, I think that's quite a crap name... that's gotta change...)
Charley: What type of thing does it focus on?
Chris: Well, I want it to be a sort of art/fashion/music type of thing, you know what I mean.
Charley: Yeah. Cool. So have you got any ideas for articles?
Chris: Well, we want to do each issue on a theme; the first theme we came up with was 'Reflections and Celebrations'
Charley: (Slightly dubious of theme) Er ok, what have you got to write about?
Chris: I've written an article on Glastonbury Festival and what it means to me, but really Charley, just try and write something that fits in with that theme.
Charley: Hmm yeah, have you got any other ideas to help me get the ideas ball rolling?
Chris: Well, I've got some ideas written down here... an article on anti-fashion...
Charley: Why have you written down 'swan and wolf'?
Chris: OH! I was going to do an article on my favourite animals and what they mean to me - what are you laughing at!?
      Charley: (dying on floor)
      Chris: What's so funny?
Charley: (Clutching sides in pain because of acute laughter)
Chris: Mike's favourite animal is a zebra...
Charley: HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAA!

So really, if you want to make me laugh, tell me you're starting up a art fanzine, celebrating and reflecting 'My Favourite Animal.'

I will be laughing for hours.
