The Pretender by The Foo Fighters
The frontman of The Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl tried to shed light into the origin of this album noting, "... You know, everyone's been f@*!#d over before and I think a lot of people feel f@*!#d over right now and they're not getting what they were promised, and so something to do with that." [Don't you just love Wikipedia?]
With that in mind, if you've been f@*!#d over, this is a nice anthem to get you in the mood to want to smash something and deal with it by the end of the song. What an awesome stress reliever too if you sing along and scream your heart out.Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) by Beyonce
If he really cared, he should have tried harder. You totally deserved so much more than you got. No excuses. No exceptions. Don't drown in self-pity for having fooled yourself for as long as you did - shake it off and hold your head up high!
You Know My Name by Chris Cornell
The die hard James Bond has always managed to walk away from a total hottie... Because he knows that life moves on and sure enough, because of his stellar good looks, killer charm (pun intended) and a host of sick gadgets, he doesn't need to look far to find another hotter hottie to risk his life for. This song epitomises the cold-blooded nature of an ex that just needs to move on. And as for your former flame, they better remember your name... Because they'll be weeping it when they think how good they had it with you.
