    • You’ve got me as to why it was scary.
      It was probably the total visual thing.

      My wife will never let me forget our leaving the theater.
      We had just begun dating.
      Rode the Honda out to some theater in Marin County.
      Had no stem lock, so I ran a chain through the front wheel spokes.
      The finish of the movie cranked me up.
      We left the show, climbed on the bike and took out 3 or 4 spokes.
      Good thing I knew how to re-spoke motorcycle wheels
      Seems this gave her a window into my vulnerability.
      Even though I was still winning races, I could be rattled.


      Oh yeh and those damn little flying monkeys in the wizard
