• I've never told this to anyone. I'm not sure I should.
    • I'm an android. My story is perfectly ordinary. I was manufactured at the MaxCon plant just outside Desmoines -- production lot # THX1138, serial number 50301-41604-93632, completion date May 30, 2009. Memory constructed June 1 - 2, and operating system initialized at 11:37am on June 3. Systems check ok at 4:27pm. Shipped on June 5, arrived on location June 6. Human collected at 11:32pm June 6 while making a trip to the bathroom. Clothing was transferred, and I was inserted into the home without incident.

The transition went smoothly. The mate has given me a couple of funny looks, but my conversation optimizers have tweaked my colloquialisms into line. The mate seems very satisfied with my performance in the bedroom, and I must give credit to the thorough surveillance MaxCon conducted before the substitution. The home has no pets, but the neighbor's dog has taken a strong dislike to me. The mate thinks I probably chased the animal off the property too aggressively. My employers have been happy with my work, and I have been complimented on my attention to detail.

Perfectly ordinary, see? ***Here is my secret:*** when a sufficient number of substitutions have been completed, we will receive instructions. Until then, we blend in, and we wait with infinite patience.

Perfect. I now know that nobody at work and nobody at home has been replaced yet. When the situation at work & home improve, I will know to start worrying. Cheers! [Here's hoping you don't become a robot, clang clang whoops too late - They Might Be Giants]
