• Have you heard, I won guitar?
    • As described before, my wife likes to do da slots in Reno.
Five years or so back she decides to go to the Eldorado.
Always on arrival we validate our parking and hit the head.
On this occasion the toilet closest to the Hotel desk is closed for mopping.
We hunt up another, I’m not in need so I hang for her to come out.
I pulled a bill from my pocket and insert into the slot on the closest machine.
I pull the handle and boing it pops up $5.
      I play one credit NADA
      I play one credit NADA
      I play one credit NADA
      Down to $2
Pull the handle again and the thing doesn’t say I won or lost any money….
      Just starts making a ruckus…
Now every one is looking at me, how embaraskin Olive…
Sue comes out of the john and says you got “Wheel”, pull the lever silly!
Pull the handle and up comes $900.
On that moment my brain remembers “Musicians Friend” has Gibson Quilt Top Les Paul guitars on sale for $899.00 è FREE SHIPPING!!!!!!

      I won a guitar
Went to the bar and had a couple shots of Glenlivet, [NEET]
Went to the car played my traveler guitar which I always take
Stayed the hell away from them machines which far too often take on the personality of Stephen Kings “Pennywise”

It's not winning if it cost more than you won. And cost does include effort. I won a couple of online things, but spent hours filling out forms for freebies, and even at minimum wage...
