    • My childhood fantasy...
    • I was at that weird age where I realized that boys & girls were different and that there were interesting things that you could do with each other's bodies... I quickly realized that doing things with girls was *gross* but doing things with boys was, heh heh, not so gross... heh heh... well, yaknow... and, this was also the period in my life when I was really into Dungeons & Dragons. I am a naturally creative person, and with all these creative skills -- and all these hormones -- the result was simple: I created a religious pantheon, in the style of the D&D book called "Deities & Demigods," in order to serve as a backdrop for an alternate-universe-much-like-our-own in which same-sex life is the norm. In my fictional universe, heterosexuality historically existed for procreation and procreation ONLY; of course, technological advances cured that problem when we could make babies without *that* sort of behavior.

I can look back on my fictional world and realize that its creation was very-much part of my process of self-actualization, albeit a very immature and early step in that process; at the time, though, I spent a lot of time in that fictional world as a way to escape from -- and extract revenge on -- the anti-gay world that we live in.

Has my fantasy come true? Well, ask the assholes who voted for Proposition 8 here in California.
