you know, we looked at this one sperm donor who had no sense of smell - and neither did one of his aunts! (we did not pick him) but I had never heard of that... given all the choices, I'd much rather be without my sense of smell vs. the others. Just think - no stinky diapers!! Of course, no yummy smells either - but I'd prefer not being able to smell my loved ones, instead of being unable to hear, see, or touch them! And to not be able to taste?? Not sure how I feel about that one. It's my runner up to losing my sense of smell.
