this prompt sucks. who even comes up with these? at least with the other prompts, if they suck, there's still a possibility to make a funny answer from it! This is just ridiculous. first off metal detectors make me angry. They're like the lottery; you keep trying and trying, hoping for that one day when you'll hit it big. You keep winning the $20 jackpots, but you keep trying for the $250million jackpot. Those $20 jackpots are the kind that keep sucking you in because it's like "hey, we know you spend half your paycheck each week paying for these crappy numbers, so heres a little loser's gift for you. But keep trying cause one day you might hit it big! ;)"

and there you go. a beautiful metaphor to explain how metal detctors ruin LIVES!

same thing this prompt is doing. seriously my brain has turned to mush just answering this question. theres a little brain matter leaking out of my ear as we speak! or in the case type.
