    • My stay at the Westin Boston Waterfront (Civic Center)...
    • Plateau's 2007 "Insights" Conference

The Westin Waterfront hotel on Summer Street was built in 2006 as part of Boston's new Waterfront Convention Center and it is classy... as in, a full five stars.

I stayed there for 5 days in late August 2007. The food was phenomenal, the hotel was very well-staffed, the convention facilities were world-class, and I managed to score a room way up near the top floor facing Charlestown and the Back Bay at no additional charge by turning on the charm and batting my eyelashes...

But above all, the best part of the experience, hands-down, was this: I didn't have to pay for a dime of my stay b/c it was a business trip. Woo-to-the-Hoo!
