My first plane ride was when I was five years old. I was leaving my orphanage in South Korea to meet my new mother in the United States. I imagine it was a very, very long plane ride, but from the pictures of me coming off the plane, it looks like I slept through it. I don't remember anything. My mother tells me that I kept trying to give her my lollypop because she was crying and I was trying to make her feel better.
