    • Get 'um started early.
    • My little brother and I had a Fisher Price record player we carried everywhere, mostly to keep away from our sister. it had records 2 inches thick in playful, primary colors. We listened to "Row-row-row your boat" and "here we go 'round the mulberry bush", until my mother wanted to throw all of us through a window. My parents had a "real" record player, but it was forbidden territory. By the time we were old enough to touch it, records were passe.
